Time Square Casino South Africa

Gaming Floors and Table Games

Since its April 2017 debut inside Menlyn Maine, Time Square Casino has stood out as more than just a gaming site. Hotel rooms, a big concert arena, and varied dining blend into one busy complex.

Our gaming floors are arranged on two spacious levels, where you’ll find roughly 1,550 slot machines and 54+ tables. Spaces for non-smokers and smokers are clearly separated so you can settle where you’re comfortable. Throughout the floors, digital clocks and displays tie into the casino’s time motif.

When it comes to table games, options are layered: American Roulette, Roulette Xtra, Blackjack, Raise Em Poker, Magic Poker, and Baccarat. Every table is fitted with custom finishes, plus in-built screens for info or bets. Depending on your style or budget, you can play in the open main hall or move into premium areas set back from the action.

Premium Gaming Options

Sun Privé is our exclusive premium gaming space. Inside, service steps up a notch and tables are only open to those in the room. The range of available games stays full, but entry means higher minimum bets.

Sun Lounge offers something between private and main floor play. It’s semi-private, with comfortable seats, special drinks, and closer access to selected tables. Our loyal Sun MVG players at higher tiers can grab extra perks when they visit here.

Private rooms are all about total privacy - for solo play or groups. Dedicated tables, chosen dealers, and custom bet limits, all served in rooms with their own entry and exit. Food and drinks continue while you play, and the setup can be tailored to your preferences.

Booking a private area isn’t instant - you’ll need to reserve ahead through our management. Minimum spends are set based on the room and the hours you want.

Slot Machines and Jackpots

Over two levels sits a mix of about 1,550 machines. You get classic three-reel slots, video slots with lots of pay lines, added features, and progressive jackpot links. There’s a ladder of stakes - from small bets at budget-friendly machines, right up to high-limits tucked in their own zones.

Progressive jackpots connect several linked machines, feeding into prize pools that update on casino screens. The jackpot totals show real time shifts but exist for reference only. Actual wins pop at random, set by each machine’s payout percentages.

Cash handling is smooth here, too. Our ATMs and cash desks are open across both gaming floors. Withdraw cash, cash out winnings, load funds without leaving sight of the action. Some banking fees may apply, based on your card or service.

Available machines and their setups update regularly, so guests should check real-time status at our slot department.

Dining Venues

Dining is stitched right into Time Square’s layout. Options stretch from quick-serve to plush steakhouse. Service hours vary, but most places run late to match our gaming rhythm.

Forti Grill & Bar leads as the prime steakhouse, serving both classic cuts and Italian-inspired mains. The restaurant keeps a separate entrance, but guests inside the casino can still access it. Dinner times fill up quickly, reservations recommended weekends.

Something’s Cooking by J’Something focuses on modern dishes drawn from local culture. It brings together relaxed seating, a built-in bar space, and even live music some evenings.

Guy Fieri’s Kitchen & Bar South Africa makes noise with big flavors and its American-themed menu. At the bar, cocktails and drinks are served to anyone wandering in, no need to sit and dine.

Altitude Champagne Garden sits atop the complex, overlooking Menlyn from above. It’s equal parts champagne lounge and supper club, with a focus on top-shelf drinks and lighter food. You’ll need the dedicated lift from casino level to get there.

Besides restaurants, there are grab-and-go stops, coffee shops and lighter outlets lining the property. In all, over 14 distinct food/drink venues operate here, though sometimes they rotate based on demand.

Sun MVG Loyalty Program

Our Sun MVG loyalty scheme is shared with every Sun International location, so your play here counts everywhere in our network. Points collect when you play slots or table games. The more you bet (and which games you play) the more points stack up. Hit a higher tier - and the rates get better.

Tiers run from entry up to premium. Each tier unlocks its rewards: advance to better areas first, free drinks at your table, invites to members-only promotions, faster point earning, and entry to premium lounges like Sun Lounge.

Check your points and status at service desks throughout the casino. All points transfer seamlessly across other Sun International sites.

We regularly run special Sun MVG offers and boosts. Promotions target different player levels and are advertised on our display screens or sent by email and SMS.

Responsible Gaming

We’re licensed and regularly inspected under South African laws, with checks on all our games. Only guests 18 or older may enter and ID is checked at the door.

We back the National Responsible Gambling Programme - help is there for anyone who thinks their play has become a risk. The helpline at 0800 006 008 is free and confidential.

For anyone needing a break, self-exclusion is possible by talking directly with us and filling some forms. You decide the length; conditions differ with each case.

Extra tools help players manage their limits or monitor how long they stay at the tables. Staff have training to discuss these resources or point affected guests toward help.
